Sorry for not getting an update to Kent yesterday for our prayer list. I want to pass on some that were shared Sunday and one that I received this morning:

Dave Renfrow--hospital wed. through fri. for medication for arythmia
Sam Renfrow--sleep test
Alanna--unspoken family issue
Aidan?--Dave and Dianna soon to be born grandson--continued growth
Friend of Popejoys dealing with cancer
New President
Dick Langley--continued recovery of shoulder injury
--and for his great grandaughter born premature at a little over 2lbs.

I am sure there are many more and some I missed...please pass them on to myself or Kent and I will try and get them posted promptly.

New Church - Atlanta, Illinois

This is the unofficial website of New Church! The official website is www.newchurch4u.com We are now meeting once again in the former McLean Grade School, in McLean, Illinois. Service begins at 9:30 a.m. and goes to 10:30 a.m.

Sunday school is available for the children. Drinks such as juice and coffee will be served weekly with food treats every other week. You may check the dates by checking the worker's scheudule.

We are a church that proclaims Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. All are welcome to attend regardless of background or age! Feel free to worship under Grace and enjoy a great Christian fellowship.

13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.
