New Church Ministries is hosting a benefit luncheon and raffle for Alexis Jo with the help of the staff and parents at SonShine Daycare (Julia's employer). Everyone is invited to attend.

Alexis Jo is the beautiful daughter of Julia Wade and A.J. Renfrow. She was born on February 5h, 2009 and weighed 4 pounds. She has been diagnosed with Trisomy 18 (Edwards Syndrome), a genetic disorder that results in multiple organ deformities. She has undergone one surgery at O.S.F. St. Frances Hospital in Peoria, but she has several more to come.

We had another good crowd at church on Sunday. Bible Prophecy class met at 8:30 a.m. with good attendance. The music was inspiring and Scott's message help illustrate God's Grace! At night we saw Fireproof! What a great Christian movie!

Lucy has been struggling recently with breathing issues. She was rushed to BroMenn in Bloomington today. The issues are very serious. Please remember her in your prayers.

Bible Prophecy Sunday School class to resume this Sunday, Feb. 22 at 8:30

I will resume the Sunday school class on Bible prophecy this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. We will continue studying the Pre-Tribulational Rapture and the hope it gives Christians.

AJ and Julia had a little girl that was delivered after 34 months. The baby was taken Peoria. Please pray for the baby and AJ and Julia.

Feb. 1, 2009 Sunday Service!

New Church welcomes all! Another great Sunday Service with over 50 in attendance once again. We had some great inspirational singing and Scott continued his message on grace. Before Church the new Sunday school class on Bible Prophecy met from 8:30 to 9:10 a.m.
