Sunday, March 29, 2009 - Thank you Lord for your providence!

Seth filled in while Scott and Deanna were away for the weekend. What a great blessing the church building has been in Atlanta! We have met many new great friends! Next week we will be meeting once again at the former McLean Grade School in McLean, Illinois (a very nice facility!)

This Sunday had a great attendance and the congregation prayed a blessing on the building. Seth led the prayer asking God to bless the new church plant that is coming into the building. We pray that many more will come to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Men's Breakfast and Retreat

Just a reminder that Men's Breakfast is the first Saturday of the month at 7:30a.m. Next Saturday it will be at my house.

Also, the men's retreat will be here very soon. I hope you plan on coming and feel free to invite friends. Fishing, shooting, and just fun men stuff will be going on. Check out more details on the website.
Let me know if you are coming on the trip....we leave thursday around 6 and will get back Saturday evening around 10:30p.m or so.

No license is required to fish on private property....may need some more cars determined by how many can come. Our brothers in Kc will be bringing 50 guys and another church is bringing 8-10....This year could be our biggest yet.

Don't miss it! It is awesome! Ask anyone who has gone...well worth it!

New Church Service on March 8, 2009

Mark Savage delivered the message today. In spite of the "spring ahead" Sunday, we had a good number at church. I truly enjoy worshiping where everyone is welcome.

What a great turnout by the Renfrow family and the New Church family! Many great items were donated for the Chinese auction. There was over $3500.00 raised to help this beautiful little girl. Thank you ever so much for http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifyour contributions. The meal was very good featuring different types of Chili and Hot Dogs with great desserts.

Sunday Service March 1, 2009

Another great Sunday service! Over 60 in attendance once again. After church we stayed for chili and hot dogs. A special thanks goes from Kent to Deanna for supplying the extra delicious chicken chili!

The advisory council met at this time and focused on our programs for youth and education. God is moving greatly in New Church! Grace is being taught and lived at New Church!
