Hi everyone,
It has been two weeks now since I have had the hip replacement and I am doing very well. I have to use a walker right now for stability but I have very little pain and I can walk pretty fast! The Lord is Great!
I thank you for all your prayers, cards, and best wishes. You really picked up my spirit and gave me encouragement. I should be in church this weekend! See you there!

This is the unofficial website of New Church! The official website is www.newchurch4u.com We are now meeting once again in the former McLean Grade School, in McLean, Illinois. Service begins at 9:30 a.m. and goes to 10:30 a.m.
Sunday school is available for the children. Drinks such as juice and coffee will be served weekly with food treats every other week. You may check the dates by checking the worker's scheudule.
We are a church that proclaims Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. All are welcome to attend regardless of background or age! Feel free to worship under Grace and enjoy a great Christian fellowship.

Christmas Breakfast was Great! Here are some pictures! Thanks to all the cooks and helpers!
Christmas Breakfast was great. We had a very good crowd for a very very very cold day! The menu was biscuits and gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, and cookies made by the youth. The drinks were coffee (yeah! I needed that!), juice, milk, and water.

13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.
